What a feeling it is to experience my first Mother's Day. Needless to say it was an emotional day. I now know what the joys of being a mother feels like. I'm just so happy!!! I woke up to a surprise waiting for me. Landon got me a neckless with a key on it (with Dad's help) letting me know it's a key to my heart and a lovely plant arrangement. We all went to church Sunday morning and come to find out Father Cloherty who has been at All Saints for the past 12 years has now been assigned to Prince of Peace in Plano and Bishop Seitz will be coming over from St. Rita's. We are sadened to see Father Cloherty go but we welcome Bishop Seitz. Anyways, we spent the rest of the afternoon resting. Landon and I took a nap for 3 hours! It was much needed after the long day we had on Saturday.

My precious boy
It's been a while since my last post. I wasn't familiar on how to change the blog layout and adding pics until this morning when Melissa walked me through it. Thanks Melissa!
Landon is doing well. He is sleeping right now. I should be resting but I can't sit still and for the life of me I am unable to take a nap. So I've decided to update my blog. Now Mom can stop bugging me about it : )
I can't believe a month has gone by. Landon has already changed so much. At his first check up on April 14 he weighed in at 8 lbs 6.5 oz at 50% percentile, height - 20 inches at 25% percentile and head circ 14 1/4 at 25% percentile. Landon has the bluest eyes with light blonde/brown hair with long fingers and long feet. He will be tall just like his daddy.
Just a few tid bits about Landon......
Landon has some strong legs. When its tummy time he will scoot himself little by little across the floor. He's already scooted himself from one end of the crib to the other. When he's on your chest he will try to scoot himself over your shoulder.
I am nursing and it's going well. He is eating every three to four hours. When Landon has gas he gets fussy and Jeff starts to panic. He thinks there is something wrong with him. I think it's funny. Landon is also a big time grunter and again Jeff thinks there is something wrong with him. The pediatrician told me it's normal and Jeff just needs to relax!
When Landon cries I will let him cry for a little while then when I go to pick him up he stops just like that and with a small grin on his face. What a little turkey! The sweetest thing is when I hold him on my chest he will turn his head around so he can see my face. Ahhhhh!! He loves bath time. Of course I've already gone through a 9oz bottle of baby wash and I love to drench him in baby lotion. YUM!
We are so blessed to have him in our lives. I can hold him and stare at his pretty little face all day long. He is precious and we love him to pieces.

Landon's Baptism
Landon was baptized while Mom and Dad were in town. He wore the same baptismal gown that me and my sisters wore along with Harper and Will. I'm glad I was able to pass down the tradition.

Introducing Landon Daniel
I was scheduled to be induced so we went to the hospital a day early and spent the night. Dr. Shimer broke my water and not long after I was in labor. To my surprise I did pretty good with the contractions. By about 3:00, I started to push and with a couple of pushes Landon's heartbeat dropped and we went into an emergency C-section. The cord ended up being wrapped around his neck. I was so scared, waiting for his cries and finally it happened! We had our precious baby boy!
Introducing Landon Daniel Taylor. He was born on March 30, 2010 at 3:32 p.m. weighting 7 pounds and 11 ounces at 19 1/2 inches long.
