He received a shot in both legs for the pneumonia, and AmoxClav for the infection. He was good after a week. We go back at the end of the month for a checkup. 18months
•Landon is getting really good at using his silverware. His favorite foods are pasta, chicken, sausage and banana. Calls me and Jeff by our first names instead of mommy and daddy. He can say the names of all his nieces and nephews. He loves being outside and gets really excited when he sees birds. He likes reading his books and he has figured out how to jump. If I'm sitting on the floor against the couch he will motion me to move forward so he can rub my back. He is very mischievous. He likes to turn his toy baskets upside down and stand on them, he will find just about anything to stand on. Once he grabbed onto the oven door handle, lifted his feet up thinking he was going to swing from it and landed on his head. I now keep it locked. One weekend I was studying and he had opened the knife drawer, grabbed a knife and started running with it. I didn't want to run after him because he would take off so I bribed him with a colored pencil. Meanwhile he is laughing and I'm trying not to laugh! 18months

•I took Landon off the Advair and he hasn't had a breathing treatment in 4 months. At his recent well visit his lungs sounded good and there were no signs of an ear infection. After his set of shots, the next day a rash appeared on both thighs and his cheeks. This same occurrence happened after his 12 month shots. I again put 1% hydrocortisone and it seems to be working. New things Landon is doing - saying "cheese" and "hi" and instead of saying mom he now says mommy. He can point to his head, nose and mouth. He loves throwing balls and climbing. When he throws fits he takes one hand and puts it over his eye, tilts his head back and cries or he runs away and backs into a corner of the room! He continues to take a morning and afternoon nap. •12 month checkup (Fri, 4/15) - For the first time in 9months, Landon has NO ear infection!! YEAH! He is in the 25th percentile in weight and height. He had his 1 yr shots this past Friday and on Saturday I noticed he had a red rash on his thighs, not thinking too much of it I let it go. On Sunday the rash was enflamed. It dawned on me that the rash is where he had his shots. So I made a call to the nurse and apparently he had a mild reaction, which is common. I was told to put 1% hydrocortisone on it and it should go down the next couple of day - 12 months 2 weeks
•Landon has learned how to clap his hands and giggles every time - 12 months 1 week
•Landon has moved to the next room in daycare. His teacher told me he is transitioning very well. He runs all over the room and in the first 5 minutes Landon had already taken a toy from another child. We need to start teaching the "sharing" method. - 12 months 2 days
•Landon is continuing to nap 2 - 3 times a day. He is now eating meats such as chicken (white meat), ham and turkey. I am trying to wing him off the bottle and on to a sippy cup. This past winter Landon has been sleeping in our room in the play pen since it has been too cold in his room. Lately, we have put him down in his bed but them he wakes up screaming!!!! I think it's because he's not familiar with sleeping in there. So Jeff ends up putting Landon back in our room. We need to break the cycle!!!! - 12 Months 2 days
